Benefits of RDVP Partnership

The RDVP believes business models and technologies created for industrialized countries must be redesigned to meet the distinctive needs of emerging markets. In conjunction with its partners and Stanford University, the RDVP develops new product and service concepts appropriate for these markets. The benefits of partnering with the RDVP on this effort include:

Market knowledge: RDVP Fellows constitute a unique sampling of emerging market needs throughout the world. RDVP partners can leverage the collective wisdom of this group by consulting with them on the challenges and obstacles they face in these complex markets.

Stanford access: RDVP partners engage with thought leaders at Stanford - the faculty, students, and alumni - that participate in RDVP projects, Board of Advisors, and events.

Global network: RDVP partners become a part of a global network of industry leaders, governments, NGOs, and international organizations that are sharing skills and collaborating to produce viable products and services for emerging market communities.

Talent development: RDVP partners’ staff, Stanford students, and RDVP Fellows gain practical experience in developing applications and solutions specifically for emerging markets.

Real social impact: RDVP projects are designed to have measurable impact. RDVP partners, therefore, are able to demonstrate the tangible social outcomes of their investments in the RDVP.

Visibility: RDVP recognizes it partners in all of its communications. These partners become visible members of the global community committed to leveraging technology for humanitarian benefit.
