Avni Jamdar is a Google Fellow at RDVP. She previously worked at PolicyLink, a nonprofit focused on social justice for low-income communities in the United States. She has a masters in Urban Planning from UC Berkeley and a degree in architecture from the Center for Environmental Planning and Technology in Ahmedabad, India. She has a background in design and has worked in a boutique designing and selling her own clothes. She grew up in Ahmedabad, India and has been driven by a desire to work on women’s issues with a focus on economic development. |
