Regional responses to regional bottlenecks

Use of electronic means to simplify procedures by the introducing electronic and digital technologies in the areas of transit trade logistics in Central Asia region (CAR). A broader coverage of the study will analyze regional cooperation strategies for the creation of a framework for such regional clusters, interest groups, networks, partnerships and dialogues with participation of public and private sector institutions resulting in introduction of new technologies and conflict prevention and peace building in the Central Asia region.

Bio

Mr. Bathija is currently working at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) where he has been designated by the Secretary-General of UNCTAD as his institution's Coordinator for the Central Asian Republics and related institutions in addition to being, the Focal Point for the LDCs, LLCs and UN-NADF in DSITE. He has numerous awards and honors to his credit such as Wafunif and has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and international forums including the Crans-Montana, the World Economic Forum and International Information conferences.
