DVP Alumni chosen to be finalists in Stockholm Challenge 2006

DVP Alumni Njideka Harry ‘04, Rajendra Nimje ‘04, and Rajeswari Pingalo ‘02 have been selected as finalists in the 2006 Stockholm Challenge Event for the world’s best ICT projects.
The Stockholm Challenge brings together inspiring people working with ICT from around world in the six categories of the Award. This time around 100 finalists will participate in the Final Event of the Stockholm Challenge 2006, May 8-11, 2006.
Njideka Harry, Young Nigerians Science and Health Tele-Academy
The Young Nigerians Science and Health Tele-Academy is a youth leadership program that equips rural information workers with appropriate ICTs; empowering them to collaborate with their digital peers, leading educators and health professionals to research, document and disseminate information on HIV/AIDS and water borne diseases.
